Dr. Wendi Manuel-Scott

PROFESSOR | SPEAKER | SOCIAL JUSTICE EDUCATOR

“Not everything that is faced can be changed, but nothing can be changed until it is faced.”

- James Baldwin

A historian and passionate educator, Dr. Wendi Manuel-Scott believes in the power of inclusive education – education as a practice that values diversity and encourages mutuality, justice, and equality. Her work, in and outside of the classroom, centers on helping all people move toward becoming better-informed citizens of our increasingly interconnected (and yet fractured) world. She believes we all have the capacity to learn, unlearn, and imagine a more inclusive world. Her passion will inspire and her twenty plus years of experience will help you develop the knowledge required to knock down barriers and build a just future.
